After a deep and meticulous screening and evaluation process, the company passes pre-selected properties through a complete due diligence route to finally obtain quality assets as candidates for acquisition. Sophisticated investors are then invited to consider selected prospects to assess their participation in the partnership and commit to funding. Once taken control of a property, Woodpecker Energy seeks to execute practices and apply technologies to benefit from operational and cost efficiencies along with the increase of well productivity; with the ultimate goal of reducing the breakeven price to lower levels.

Boris Abad-Guerra, Ph. D. in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from The Pennsylvania State University. Dr. Abad-Guerra has been involved in the Oil & Gas Industry – business for 40 years. He is an expert in prospecting and evaluating oil fields and operations. Dr. Abad-Guerra has worked in USA - Texas, Louisiana, California; UK & Norway; Colombia and Ecuador. He has conducted reservoir engineering and oilfield development projects in Abu-Dhabi, Egypt, Mexico, Brazil and Peru. At this point, Dr. Abad-Guerra permanently evaluates opportunities in the Upstream and Downstream Shale Oil & Gas Business in United States to develop portfolios of opportunities for a clients.
Gustavo Morales Barreto. Mr. Morales is a highly motivated, goal-oriented executive with over 22 years of experience in the oil field industry. Mr. Morales has strategic and financial planning expertise under stringent budgetary controls, strategic planning, and emphasis on maximizing personnel and financial resources while focusing on bottom-line profitability. Mr. Morales has participated in several Boards of Directors in the financial sector including insurance companies , engineering and international corporations where he is responsible for expanding to new frontiers. Mr. Morales has senior-level professional experience as a CEO of many private companies for 20 years and is a highly analytical decision-maker with extensive experience in building, turning around, and operating companies, having conducted business in North and South America. Mr. Morales holds a Bachellor Degree in Architecture from Central University of Venezuela and also holds a Master Degree in Construction Management from Wentworth Institute of Technology at Boston, Mass.
Hugo R. Liscano, MBA - Mr. Liscano holds a BA from Saint Michael’s College, Vermont US in Economics and an MBA in Finance from Andres Bello Catholic University in Venezuela. He has been in the Banking Industry for the last 25 years. Throughout his extensive career Mr. Liscano was CFO of the Consumer Business of Citibank Venezuela branch. Also he was Financial Institutions & International Relations Head of Mercantil Servicios Financieros, the largest financial services provider of Venezuela with Rep Offices and businesses in the US, Mexico, Colombia, Peru and Brazil. He was member of the MSF Global Corporate and Investment Bank Committee, MSF Global Credit Committee, Mercantil Commercebank Corporate Credit Committee and Anti-Money Laundering Committee.
Heribert R. Perez Eng. - Mr. Perez has 17 years of experience in managing and conducting oil and gas projects, he has worked in upstream projects such as Ameriven (Chevron-PDVSA project), Petrozuata, Cerro Negro among others, as project engineer and project manager. Mr Perez has been involved in several projects for procurement management. Mr Perez founded his own company in 2005, Rinato Company inc / Oil and Service Supply; which emphasizes in downstream services. For the las 10 years he has managed it, with a resulting increase in the company revenues of up to 33% year after year with branches in Venezuela, Colombia, Bolivia, and recently Argentina. Mr Perez keeps updated with the latest technology and information always looking for new challenges in which he could use all his knowledge and experience in managing multidisciplinary projects.
